Lifereef SVS-3-24 Protein Skimmer

I have been coomunicating with Jeff at LifeReef and a couple of people who have this skimmer.
All reports are fantastic.

Anyone here have experience with these skimmers?

I am still putting equipment together for my SPS 115gal tank.

Hi Mark, A few months ago...after extensive research, I actually was about to buy that exact skimmer. At the last minute I opted to try out the custom one I've currently got. I too have never heard anything negative, and Jeff seems very customer oriented.

Though I have no first hand experience, I'd say go for it.

I had the small Lifereef skimmer years ago and it did a good job. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it was hard to clean and impossible to clean the skimmer body which always got encrusted with tube worms and other junk. The model you are looking at has a flanged body so that should make it much easier to clean.
