Second Felgers although with the new laws it sounds like I won't be going back.
Hope their tourist dollars take a big hit. If you don't like noise and drinking then don't live on the darn river!

It's not that bad just take a plastic bottle and make mixed drinks!!! then you only need one cooler for everyone.
As for who to use on the comal like I said I like corner tubes but just go to any on the comal. No need to take an extra ride from the guadalupe vendors.

The horseshoe is right off of FM306 and a FM road I can not remember the name of. You can't miss it. It's called the horseshoe since the Guadalupe bends in a horseshoe shape hitting FM 306 twice., The neat thing is where you put in is 5 minutes from where you get it out. It's about a 2 hour trip.

I will probably be floating the Comal with friends and family within the next week or 2 myself. Im originally from North Texas (DFW) and we camp on the Brazos a lot when I was younger. Now that is a fun river to float!

Got back a few hours ago and it was great. We used corner tubes and they were very nice people. Next time we are taking our own tubes. There was nothing wrong with their tubes, but the store bought ones look way nicer. They had head rest and a place to put your drink. I saw a guy floating on a tube and smoking a cigar. I was so jealous. Why didn't I think of that!
