Default Handful of Hermits - Free

(Afternoon update - pick up pending)

Those little #^@&*@#!! Tiny, little murderers free for someone in need.

They've recently taken out two of my oldest resident snails and I'm not pleased, they have been voted off the island and out of the cube. There are around 8 or 9 of them...red leg, blue leg, zebra leg, and one white leg and they are available for pick-up starting....now

    /rant
They have extra shells, there is plenty of algae, detritus, and a meaty feeding every night (frozen for Beemer). Why do they feel the need to attack the snails??? Grrrrrr....
    /end rant

I feel your pain. My hermits attacked my favorite snail and took the shell. I'm done with crabs for a while. At least they aren't attacking Beemer.

Oooohhhh if they attacked Beemer and can't even imagine their fate

It's just odd. I don't know if I crossed some sort of crab to snail ratio, or if it's just because they are bigger now, but I just wonder why now? If I had the time and the talent I would take each shell and paint tiny little "Kick Me" signs

yes, crabs do what crabs do.
with next tank (few weeks away) I may try the Reef Cleaners plan of no crabs.

I'm not sure if it is a disaster waiting to happen, but I've had great luck with a handful of various snail types, 2 herbivore blennies, 1 emerald crab, and one strawberry crab.
