    Default Can anyone ID??

Found this attached to a pc of liverock which is the base of my colt coral. I had to use a magnifying glass for the photo. It is tiny, pea sized and has tenacles extending out. The interior is bright orange and the outsides are bright yellow. Best I can describe is a teeny clam that is bright orange on the inside. The sides have the tenacles/sweepers yellow extending out kinda like a scallop. Looks pretty cool. Lots of things to discover using a magnifying glass!! Any ideas? Good or bad? It is almost in the middle of ea photo if you can see it..

I would say it is some sort of baby polyp. Do you have and yellow and orange corals in you tank? Can you tell if it has a carbonate skelelton?

Funny you ask. I do have a yellow sun coral close to it but it is all yellow. Can't tell if it has a skeleton or not. Wish it were a denro polyp! I have been looking for a polyp or two of dendro for a LONG time. I'll watch it and repost photos as it grows if it does.

You have good eyes. Come stare at my tank for a couple of days please. Did you run out of beer or something?
