it's probably exotically photoshopped. John has a bad rep with quite a few of us.

For the newbies (me), can you be more specific? I like to know what online retailers are even worth considering. I had that site marked-looks like some crazy stuff-for a rainy day when I can splurge on something wild.

Looks like they found a buyer for it. Even if it was real, I can't see paying $210 for 1 inch!

Good info. Do zoa varieties have actual assigned names (industry standard) or are they all semi-descriptive (what ever you feel like calling them according to their color at the time) type names?

And all it would take is someone buying it and not realizing that you can't expose sponges to air and kill it off in a couple of seconds...but it is AMAZING....I was looking at that..but as mentioned....$210 for 1 inch is a bit too much for me....i'll admire it from his website....and I agree, he does some touching up of photos..I ordered some things from him...placed them under 250w halides and they looked NOTHING like what he had on his site....Example....
I ordered these (australian blue tangerine acan and australian polar ice acan):

I got these (which unfortunately died on me, and i liked them too although not what quite what I thought I ordered):

Phrog, check out http://www.zoaid.com/ to see a few zoa names, lol. Your decision on whether or not you choose to use names but it does make trading easier. Some of us do, some don't.

PS. John had sent me the "wrong zoa frag". I called him on it and he refunded my purchase.
