    Default killer chromis?

    My chromises seem to like nipping the tips on one of my green milles and the tips are dying and starting to grow algae. The mille slimes up when I feed and the darn chromises keep eating it. Is this normal? If anything im going to be getting rid of them before they kill it.

    Default Plectroglyphidodon Genus = Bad For SPS Corals

    Is it a Jewel Damselfish aka White Spotted Devil Damsel (Plectroglyphidodon Lacrymatus). Not to be confused for the Yellow Tail Jewel Damsel (Microspathodon Chrysurus). Two Damsels in the Genus "Plectroglyphidodon" are known to eat SPS coral. This Damsel will nip and remove polyps from SPS. I witnessed this first hand when he Went To Town on my Rose Mille Colony that I got from Texas Todd. He was also the meanest fish I've ever owned. He bit me and drew blood so many times it wasn't funny.Though I didn't like him, I still let him be. He picked at every fish in my tank, But then I drew the line when he started popping and biting my Prized Mated Flame Angelfish Pair (new to the tank at the time). I was so MAD that I broke down my tank for the First Time. At 5AM, When 99% of everything was out, I was able net him. Then I Got Him Out and Nolan Ryan'ed him down the hall with a THUD. I HATE This Fish. If you have SPS Corals stay clear of this darned fish. BTW they lose their color with time and become quite ugly to match their personality.

    My Green Chromises are fine and have been for over a year. Trade him in for another Chromis. They only cost $5.
