Default Nanocube for Fuge-Can it be done?

I currently have a 55 gallon non driled tank with fish/some corals and a 12 Nanocube.Any suggestions on turning the Nanocube into a refugium for the 55 gallon and how to do it?I'm assuming an overflow and a return pump but not sure how to setup or what equpment to use.Or would this be a bad idea.Any suggestions would help.

maybe you could mod a HOB overflow to be really slow, have it drain into where the display would be on the nanocube, and modify the return in the back to go up into your display tank. You'd most likely have to change the pump out for something larger, at least a MJ1200...

still sounds like more trouble than it's worth to use the nano though, I'd probably just sell it and buy yourself a 20 gallon tank, and tiny mag pump
