I know the Output of a maxi jet 1200 is 295 and the output of a koralia 3 is 850. Right now I have two MJ 1200 in a 75g rr setup, If I upgraded to two koralia 3 in that setup would it be too much flow?
Please help asap.
Thx
Greg

I don't think it will be too much but I guess that depends on what you are keeping in your 75. I have a 72 with one K4 and a Seio; I keep Z's and P's and a few lps and sps; I am thinking about adding more current.
You might even consider the 4's.
ditto, go with 2 #4s
i had two #3s in my 30g cube for over a year
thx guys

What's going on greg, i've got two 3's in my 50 oceanic which is only 30 inches long and they are perfect in my tank so i'd say 4's for yours. Eric Harrison has 3 4's in his tank and it's really good flow.
I have three #4s, all stacked, and my rockwork is in the center so my flow goes in a circular motion. The top and bottom K4s are on during the day, and the middle one is on at night. My tangs LOVE to play around in the current.
I'm Erik btw.![]()
