Leaking Tank
Im new to this site and a newbie in general to salt water.
I have a used 200 gal flat back hex tank. i resealed it with weld on 3 last weekend, then i filled it with water tonight for a trial run and it has two minor spots that are leaking. will it hurt it if i add more weld on 3 to all the seams again?
thanks for any help

I hate to ask but I am assuming it is an acrylic tank?

I am assuming when your using weldon #3 that this is an acrylic tank? you can redo that one spot but it will need to be dry and clamped really tight, otherwise the new glue will weaken the bond that is already there.

acrylic
yes it s an acrylic tank how would i go about clamping it, it is a very large tank the back is 5 ft wide by 27in tall and frome the back to the front it is almost 30in. by clamping it wouldnt it possibly cause it to start to leak in other places? has anyone else had this problem?

You can use bar clamps and ratchet straps.
