If you get a chance, go by Al's hobbies. He is located near Lackland AFB. The guy will stop what he is doing to help tune motors repair broken parts and get you what you need ASAP. Maybe a bit too serious about the RC hobby. He use to run a small track in the parking lot there in front of the store on Sat. nights, but this was before I left for Iraq.

motohead, look into the FG's and the MCD's. It'll run you about 1500-2k to get started, but you'll never regret it. I would not even look at another nitro car again. These things have too much power, I pass the 1/8 .21 buggies on two wheels and backing off the gas to keep the truck from flipping. If you make your way to Al's hobbies, ask Al about Scott's FG monster truck. That guy was amazed at how much power I put to the groung with my truck, and he's been doing this for some time.
