    Default Aquascaping

Has anyone used fiberglass rods to aquascape? If so, where did you get the rods? Did you have problems with your rock breaking when you drilled it? Any tips?

I've never broken rocks when drilling. I did break a hammer drill drilling some Haitian rock, that stuff was harder than concrete.

you can also use plastic clothes hangers - just cut the straight pieces out. much cheaper.

Just wondering, is a hammer drill necessary?

Not for most rock. Porous stuff like fiji is easy to drill into.

use a masonary drill bit and do it slowly..
Reefing is just like cooking, all the ingredients have to be just right , except you don't have to bring the water to a BOIL...
