    i just had a coral go RTN and wanted to find out why and found these articles:

    Tony,

    The first article is almost 10 years old. The second one pretty much outlines what everyone says you should do. Unfortunately, fragging hasn't worked very well for me - but I've always put it back into the same tank.

    I've had some RTN problems - but most are either "rescue" colonies that were not in good shape to begin with, or ones that got damaged by contact with another coral first.

    didnt even notice the date on the first one, thanks

    ive tried the fragging route and had a couple of successes but few and far between
