i cut my finger off yesterday and damaged the others bad . i was trying to make a DIY reflectors for the T-6 lamps.

i would like some parabolic reflectors for these t-6. im still doped up from 4 hours of surgery. but i found out the VHO are made BY helios (i think that is what she said) so im not a big fan of helios so i will be trying the NO & HO lamps. and see how much lux they put out on 2Xs OD, 4Xs OD, & IC driven.

WHAT! The guy chops his finger off building a reflector then comes out of surgery to post that he wants some reflectors. Sounds a little weird to me. Most of the time these types of post have pics to some-what validate the statement.

hmmm maybe he is not a DIY'er!

The post would seem more real if a few characters in his post were missing while typing lol

    LOL LOL LOL LOL!
    ROTFLMAO

I hadn't really considered it being a fake. Who would make that up?
It makes lumenarcs seem pretty reasonable.
What is even more crazy is he keeps posting in the thread. I do not think I would be so calm or dedicated to DIYing after losing a finger.

BTW I am glad there weren't any pics.

I cut the tip of finger before, and my dad (like father like son) cut his whole thumb off as well. I wouldn't have been typing after the 11 stitches they had to put in, two of which were through my thumbnail It was on the router table in shop class. My teacher yelled at me while I was operating machinery and I turned to see what he wanted and ended up touching the bearing of the router. The blade was spinning so fast that I had no idea that I had even cut myself. I proceeded to help with clean up until this guy had told me to look at my finger. By the time word had gotten around to my grandma, I had cut my whole arm off.
