Thread: Added to much buffer to water

Default Added to much buffer to water

I was mixing about 3 gallons of water to do a small water change and I added more ph buffer than I normally do and now the water is all cloudy. It has been that way for about 45 min. Should I just start over or will it eventually clear up?

    Thanks
    Todd

What is your calcium at. If your pH is over 8.2you may have precipitated Ca.

This will explain what to do depending on your Ca.
