Some powerheads have an air inlet spiggot that will allow you to attach a length of airline to and a valve so you can incorporate air bubbles to the pump output. What kind of powerheads do you have?

I would imagine the more air the better during treatment.

so-smrt...why are you using the chemi-clean, are u trying to get rid of red algae if so i would let it run its course, I had a bad infestation of red algae which lasted about a month or so, it eventually went away after i placed a better skimmer on my system.
