    Cap,

do you run your lights 24 hours a day to keep it from going sexual and nuking your tank?

i have moved my tank 3 times in the last 6 months and the last time i almost lost all my fish including my 2 blue tangs. 3 clowns and 1 flame angle died the rest i had to throw into the tank with no aclimating and at least a 5-10 degree difference. the next day all were fine and ready to eat, no ick or any bad effects.

    cap,

and no problems w/ it going sexual?

I know caulerpa readily grows, but i thought most people were just scared of it going sexual and tended to avoid it infavor of Ogo, cheato, etc...

No problems that I know of. Of course I don't have much in my tank right now. After my fish problems, I've not added anything to it.

could it be that fresh live food such as pods and fresh macro actually make fish more resistant to ick and other problems?
Instar used to always recommended feeding lots live macroalgaes to treat an ick outbreak, said it worked well.
