two full days of classes, and then i think 2 to 4 open water dives.

if we wanted, we might be able to arrange to take the entire course in cozumel, costa maya, or wherever (cozumel would probably be the cheapest.

i have seen prices in sa for certificatio (courses only) as low as 250, but there is a guy named Andy (I think) around here that does private lessons, they are 300 - 350 per person, plus he takes care of travel arrangements to cozumel. if memory serves he was a treasure diver in florida for a while.

Just let me know what you find out and how much and If I have to I can haul but down there on the bike and we can do all the courses. I think It will only take me 9 hours and $40.00 to get there on the bike.
Some people are like slinkys, they are really good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Italy if we're talking non-diving vacations. I'd like to hit Ireland/ Scotland as well. A few other random places around Europe, but those have been my goals for years. If we're diving, Tahiti and Australia, all around there- Yap, Palau, etc... St. Croix is one I'd like to go back to. People were verrry nice and the diving was great!
