I used to type into the search engines " USA free wap ringtones" in any order just as long as it has those words in the search and see which ones not bogus. Then use your internet on your phone and go to the address the web site gave you and usually you put in some type of code for the tone you want and it works. It just takes FOREVER. lots of BS sites

Look in a ringtone maker. Where you can get mp3 and cut it. And make it in to a ringtone. I know cingular has it..

i have a motorola razr that comes with motorola phone tools. it has a utility in it that will chop up my mp3s and make them into compatible ringtones. your phone needs to be able to connect to your computer VIA usb or you will pay bandwidth charges to download whatever you create and host.

with verizon, you have to send the ringtone to the phone as a picture message. you just get charged for the picture (if you arent on a pic receiving plan) and 1 or 2 minutes of airtime.

thats a wierd way of doing things.. i guess it makes them money.

My phone is also a PDA and it just uses entire MP3's as ring tones, so I just select what I want to use off my 2GIG mini SD card, and it becomes a ringtone... pretty sweet. never really messed with them before this..

no there should be a usb cord that would connect to your phone and a program that would cut the songs.
