    My Patagonian conure did the same thing recently. I called a bird vet and was told to cover her up most of the day to simulate longer hours of darkness. I did and she stopped laying. She only gets approx 7 hours of light a day now. Apparently the longer hours of daylight make females want to lay eggs more often, which you know can cause problems. Good luck

    You can try going to hobby lobby and buying some of those fake decorative eggs. I've heard replacing the real ones with plastic keeps the bird happy without her exerting energy on laying eggs every time you throw them out.

    Hard boiled.
    When I was stationed in Korea we went to a couple of authentic Korean places. They always served Soju (basically a rice vodka) mixed in with different flavor Koolaides. Then served with little hard boiled Quail eggs rolled in light salt. These were both actually very good.
