How do you know when it is time to change your filter cartridges? Does one go bad before another? I know that the di resin will change color when it needs to be changed but what about the others?

You need a TDS meter, (Total Dissolved Solids) it will let you know when the filters are spent, I usualy change all the filters including the DI resin at 3ppm. www.buckeyefieldsupply.com is an excellent supplier of filters and basicly everything you need for water conditioning.
