    Default Identification-Anemone

We just got in from the coast, and found a whole mess of hermits, and anemones down there. We were at the jettys and I was wondering if anyone could tell me the type of anemone that are all over the place. I mean everywhere. Were they just little flower anemones or what? They are either light grey or light blue tentacled. Tentacles not more than an inch. I'll post pics tomorrow, but if someone has been to the jettys and knows what this is and if it's cool to throw it in my tank LMK.

I've had one in my tank for a few months now. It's never moved from the original spot I put it.

My guess would be a condy.... they are very prevelant in the gulf, and have a variety of colors to them. Most are very hardy and can tolerate most water conditions, as evident from them living around Corpus/Port A waters.

Also look at flower/rock anenomes. There are an abundance of these down there along the rocks of the jetties. Some can be quite colorful, they usually only have tentacles around the edges of them making them look like a flower.
