sick dog!!!!!

MY rott. is old(15years)and I know it been towards the end of are relatshionship. But he gotten sick again. And I was just wantd to know if there is anything to help him with the pain. I just not ready to put him down. He has been like this befor and came thou. So I would rather see if he would get better this time too. I was able to get him to eat wet food(slowly). But I really cant afford to take him to the vet and them say all this stuff. And he would be in a cage. So I would rather have him here. But if anyone could help me thanks..

Putting him in a cage might seem mean but if he's really sick it is better for him. Keeps him from moving around too much and they can give him fluids if needed.
Think when your sick what do you do? Just lay in bed and don't want to be bothered. Same idea in the cage. He feels safe and secure and can relax and the body can work on getting better.

But the Vet is definately the best option. They may "say all this stuff" but it should help your pet get better. But if you think they are blowing smoke up your *** then try another vet. You should be able to trust him like you trust YOUR doctor. They do go through more school than a regular MD.
