Scorpions like to hide in dark places, that's where they like to hang out. There is a product called STUFFIT at home depot that you shove into your home's weep holes. It will not block the weep hole from weeping as it is made of mesh. Look for their entry points, and remember they're just looking for somewhere to hide. The smaller the scorpion, the harder the sting! I worked for Terminix for a few years doing commercial sales. Best way to deal with it is by not using pesticides. Alot of places don't like to spray anything around animals ESPECIALLY FISH, as they easily succumb to pesticides

Scorpions are trying to take your wife from you! Tell her to be strong and remember those are just empty promises, those scorpions will just love you and leave you.

one of their favorite food items is cockroaches, how do you feel about them now! you are seeing them now because of all the recent rains, they don't like water. that's the same reason you see them when new lawns are installed, because they get flooded out of their holes or rocks, and they're looking for high ground. i once had on in my pillowcase! it stung me on the ear! that was by far the most painful of the 10-12 times i've been stung.

I don't want to kill them, I actually got mad at my mom for smashing the one last night. I found a huge spider later that night and swept him out the front door. I'd rather have scorpions and spiders than cockroaches! But my mom freaks out everytime she sees one, and our cats and dogs eat EVERYTHING (like the week old dead frog my dog dragged in that stunk up our house so bad you could smell the stench from the driveway) so we are worried about them getting stung when we are gone.

Get some chickens, they love scorpions.

Haha. I would definately opt for the chickens. But I'm sure the parents wouldn't enjoy them as much as I would, and I'm positive the cats would enjoy them even more than me, but in a more delicious way.

I hear ya. My neighbor got a bunch of chickens, like 15, and let them roam free. They were always coming onto my property and around my house and that year I didn't see any scorpions. Now his flock has dwindled to only three, I know my dogs ate at least two of them. So back to having scorpions around.
