Horizon and Rivercity my two favorite stores!!

I'm sure ya know that I go to fish stores all the time and my two favorite stores are Horizon and Rivercity. I literally go there 3-4 times a week. I spoke alot about Horizon which I'm sure ya know bc he always has some nice corals ,great price, and very down to earth nice guy. All the tanks are looking great with all the new help. Tons of selection and deals to die for . Lots of new corals tomorrow and thursday I believe so ya must check it out!! Ohh ya need to look at the back corner tank... He has a blue sting ray it's AWESOME and some nice corals in the front tanks too.

Now I'm speaking about Rivercity!! They also have a great selection of corals also and today I was in there and saw a beautiful yellow milli!!! I want it but don't get paid till next friday and I know it will be gone. There are tons of livestock and corals right now also bc of the huge shipment yesterday. I don't know if I ever mention this but I get my water tested 3 times a week and they do a fantastic job of testing all and yes I said it ... All the major parameter " 7 different test' without every getting mad at me at no charge . You probaly wondering about the mad part...lol I sometime test it twice a day bc I can't get my tank in line when I go over board on suppliments...lol I need a CA reator!!!! So Thanks to these two stores for opening up the competition and so we REEEEFF ADDICTS can get the exotic stuff without the drain in the pocket book.

Hey I just left Horizon and he got some pink salmon Acropora millis "3 colonies" and peach acorpora millis "2 colonies", and a green and yellow humilis for 45.00 for each colony. That is a GREAT Deal for Aquaculture Acroporas!!

I have to agree. Horizon and Rivercity are both great stores. I really like the fact that they don't feel that your tank has to be setup a certain way. I was talking to this one hobbyist and he told me that you must run DSB and Protein Skimmer or your tank will fail and then another told me that Bare bottom was the only way to go and he didn't use a Protein Skimmer at all. So I went in to Horizon and talked to Steve about it and he showed me examples in his stores of different setups. He showed me that there are a lot of different ways to make your reef look great and I just really appreciate his opinion because his is straight forward and open minded. With the constant advancement this hobby is making I think that's really important.

Rivercity is also a great shop. I wish they would setup a few more saltwater tanks but as far as helpfulness and knowledge these guys are great.

Being new to the bobby information is very important to me. I really like the fact that I can go in to either of these stores and ask A LOT of questions but never feel like I have to buy something in return for the knowledge they provided me. If you haven't been to either of these store's I would recommend going to both. I know Horizon just got a big shipment in yesterday, go check it out.

I went to Horizon to day and they had a large selection Acroporas small ,med and large colonies and alot of new fish.
Steve has been a help to me being new to the hobby and i have picked up some good deals there.
