    Default Freshwater cichild tank

I have some LR that is now Dead. So would it do any harm to put it in the cichild tank? would it be beneficial or just for show?

Yes, once dry it is just rock.

Holey rock is very common around here and looks great in chiclid tanks. I have some large tank ready pieces if you are interested.

Yup. More accurately called porous limestone.

It is very good for Cichlids actually. It is very similar to the limestone found in their natural lakes in Africa. It is highly recommended that you use it.
