Anyone on here know where or who to call to charter a gulf coast fishing trip. My dad wants to go big fish fishing for shark, marlin, anything that can pull you in, etc... Anyone here have any connections or recommendations?

Try the Saltwater Cowboy out of Aransas. We have used him before and had wonderful offshore trips. Honest, hardworking and straight forward. www.thesaltwatercowboy.com or www.fishintexas.com - For bayfishing I have always used Kevin McCoy at Reel McCoy Guide Service. www.reelmccoyguideservice.com 1-888-94-TROUT. Myself and several guys from the fire department and friends have used both of these services with great results. Of course Mother Nature always has something to say. John
Might want to shoot member "Josh" a pm, I know hes into shark fishing ang could probably steer you in the right direction. For Marlin and such, Google "bill fishing the gulf coast", plenty of info there. Im partial to Port Aransas, I fish there several times a year with great success.
Thanks guys, great info!

I agree with Joshua. We have not had too much luck with keeping and enjoying caught sharks. There is a specific way to handle them if you plan to eat 'em, that goes for most saltwater fish though. Some are just pickier about life after death and before the table. Most guides are ethical about treatment and releasing fish, some caught fish just cannot be released and expected to live.
