    Default Clam Help

I was wondering if anybody has encountered bleaching in clam mantles before. I came home yesterday and noticed a small faded area on the mantle of my clam. Im not sure if its bleaching or if its too close to my wellsophylia. Sometimes the Wells expands to huge prortions and it may have come in contact with the clam. I have moved the clam to a different area. If its not the wells. causing the problem wat causes fading. I have checked my water, and temp is always 78-80 degrees. The clam still opens and feed but just has a small faded area.

I've had slight bleaching before, it dissappears/heals over the course of about a month.
