Default Identity Help Needed... (Noob alert!)

Ok, folks I'm going out on a limb here to show just how ignorant I am. I'm still rather new to the hobby and there's some stuff going on in my little 10 gallon I'm not sure about. I have some things growing I'm hoping I can get some help identifying:

Any ideas on the name/species of this macro algae? Why is #1 pure white and #2 very green? #1 started out green, grew to its present size and faded to white.

I'm guessing #3 is some sort of bristle worm. I've got bunches of them. I'm guessing there's a predatory relationship with the copepods. Would I be correct on either account?

Any idea what the name/species is for #4? Im loaded with this too. Seems to grow like crazy. Good/bad?

I've got some polyps and I'm thinking #5 is some sort of nudi that likes to hang out on them. There's a few of them, although I would say they aren't a problem... yet. Anyone know what these are and should I be concerned?

    Thanks in advance,

    Mark

1,2&4 are a species of halimeda.. #1 most likely dead due to not enough calcium...# 3,yup thats a bristle worm,, if you have lots of them you may be overfeeding the tank. #5 yep look like nudis to me and you probably don't want to keep em.

#5 kinda looks like they might be stomatella snails.

#5 does look like the stomatella snail. If you can get one out of the tank, see if it has a shell or not. If not, I'd try and get them all out of the tank.

I would also recommend an emerald crab for the bubble algae problem your developing.

halimeda is cool stuff. it becomes sand and builds beaches. that beautiful white caribbean sand we all love, not just coral, mostly it's halimeda algae. (according to the marine biologist I went snorkeling w/ in belize.

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping that I'm not calcium deficient. There's somewhere around 16 halimeda like in #1 & #2 growing in the tank and only a couple are white. I'm doing a 1/3 water change every two weeks and dosing with a teaspoon of Fiji Gold twice a week. That's been keeping my Crocea growing pretty well.

I've looked at these guys pretty closely and they don't appear to have a shell. They do seem to have horns, however.

I might just get an emerald crab, but I think that what you're seeing as bubble algae is actually grape caulerpa magnified. I do have a few bubbles, but it doesn't seem to be out of control.
