Ah but unless it's in a sump it'll be picking up bottom water right? Isn't that what makes the AquaC so much superior to most HOT skimmers? That nifty overflow box that goes in the tank? Maybe the one in the pic is designed to squeeze into a manufactured nano like JBJ or Oceanic?

    mike,

that model is specifically designed to go into nano-cubes (jbj specifically but I am sure it would fit in most of them.) and when you think about it, those overflow boxes on those nano-cubes are the same thing as your talking about, except this skimmer sits IN it.

It looks like they have three different models including one for the Oceanic biocube 29 (mine). I contacted them and they should be sending info soon.

by the time pay me for the skimmer, and buy a pump, it will probably cost the same as if you bought it from them. that would probably be your best bet if they have one specifically designed for your tank.
