I was in the LFS and they have an Eibli Angelfish for $25. I have a 30 gallon mixed reef with 2 damsels and a scooter blenny. I was wondering if anyone has kept these? Are they reef safe? Mean? Should I buy it? It is a really good looking fish.

Is this the fish?
yes it is. good news or bad news?
I have no personal experience with Angels. According to (Marine fishes a pocket expert guide, Scott W. Michael, 2001 TFH); Eibl's Angelfish may nip at LPS, clam mantles. May also eat some soft coral polyps and nip zoanthids.
From what I have read, most Angelfish owners do not keep corals.
thanks for the info. I think I will hold off.
most of the dwarf angels can go either way as far as "reef-safeness", it just depends on the individual. i have seen eibel's angels in full blown reefs before, and they are subtlely beutifull, aren't they?

60G cube, now planted amazon tank
I got a fat one in my tank, got him from Jade a while ago, he had clams and SPS and he had no problems, I have got no problems out of him either, as stated above is an individual fish behavior, or you may call it, roll of the dice, sometimes you win some times your fish is a nightmare LOL, not really funny
