I know what you mean. I just re-did the whole tank. Took it down to bare glass. Had it drilled, added new Calfo. I used to have about 250# of rock in there and alot of it had either halimeda or turf algae on it. So I removed about 85# of the "algae-coated" rock and re-aquascaped it all. I took all the sand and washed it about 6 times and rinsed all the cr$p out of it. This is the first time I had white sand in about 4 yrs. I will be glad when the rocks are covered with coralline algae again. I had alot of die-off from the changes. Thanks for the compliment.
