    Default dead powder blue

    i just bought a copperband butterfly fish 2 nights ago and he has been nothing but attacked by my powder blue tang. i just got home to see how the copperband was doing when i noticed the powder blue was in the copprebands spot and upside down DEAD. fear the ninja known as copperbottom. :(

    I really doubt that the CBB had anything to do with it unless the PBT was just stressed out over him being in the tank. They stress out pretty easily. That's a shame though. They are both favorite fish.

    i dont know gary, i think he wacked him, put him in his corner and is now acting innocent. remember what people say BEWARE THE QUIET ONES. even the yellow tang is buddieng up to him now. its like a scene out of a prison movie. h34r :w00t

    A copperband that decides to defend itself is a fish to be reconned with. Some times they run because they are new to the tank and scared out of their minds, sometimes they stand and fight. If it's healthy it will stand it's ground and if it decides to stand it's ground, it will take on all that wish to make the challenge. I've seen the CBB slash an attacker and cripple it with one blow. They are not aggessors, so the only way for a fish to get into trouble is if the other fish starts it. Sounds like the powder blue pushed it a little too far maybe?
