Well, at work, we are trying to be stealthy and move our systems in-house without letting the current provider know that we are about to cut service with them. Therefore, the developing programmers are not available for me to ask.
What we have is a problem with a VBS script that is intended to harvest information from a SQL database. The tricky part is that the program that stores the information into the SQL database (a database manager and data entry interface all in one) uses an MS Access 2000 Run-time procedure call. Basically, I have done what I can (since I am not a programmer) and tried using the debugger to get the script to go to the next step. It always seems to hang at the Access call, or open many instances of the runtime environment.
What I am looking for is someone that is willing to help get this program running in the correct fashion. We have had a "programmer" helping us along the way, but he decided that he would drop this project without completing to go get another job. So we are stuck. I have no problem giving you access to the systems that are running the software, and paying for your time. You can work from home, come to our office, or what ever works best for you.
Here's the biggest issue. We need this yesterday! Please contact me if you can help, or know someone looking for a side gig to pay some bills. Call me or have the other person call!
Thanks,
Jim Allen
