    Default other paraphanilia

so now i have a baby crab. (as posted before). its doing great. feeding it raw shrimp. i was finally able to get some Instant Ocean and can now add more water. however i have a problem. the crab definatly seems to need to be out of the water at times. right now there is a sand bank at one end and water at the other. in order to add enough water to use the filter, the water level will have to excede the top of the bank. is there any danger in adding a piece of wood or something to replace the sand bank? or maybe something i can put under the sand that will allow it to be higher than the water? i do not currently have enough sand to just pile it up. (this is the most important question)

also, i now have a thermometer, a filter, and an airator (spelling?). is there anything else that i cant live without, as all i have is a crab?

lastly, as this is a cold water aquarium, can anybody suggest any other livestock that would live well (without too much maintenence) in the current system? it is only a 5 gall tank.

    thank you so much

(any suggestions on a name? i have to name him on tomorrow)

Use sw safe rocks like limestone or base rock instead of wood to make a wall with sand on one side and water on the other.

Probably too small to add more livestock plus most crabs are predatory.

    I would name it Itchy.
