I think so....basically if fits JUST on the rim of the coupling. Guys keep an eye on ebay and buy the 4 packs of MJ1200's you can get a pretty good deal that way. Unfortunatly I don't want to buy them myself. You can buy them and have them shipped to my address.

I've completed 3 of these mods and finishing a fourth. Two MJ 1200's and 2 MJ 900's. Most of the parts like the prop, carbon fiber rod(2.5 mm X 610mm $6.49)(or stainless steel rod), ultra light wheel(1H01/51 2" GWSQ2205 $1.25) and carbon fiber tube can be purchased loacally at The Hobby Center on Frericksberg road(no shipping). The rest can be purchased at Lowes( test cap, PVC pipe and 1-1/2"coupling)and LFS(rigid tubing, airline tubing). With the MJ 900, I find a dual nitro hammer prop( HCAB 7750 $4.99 comes with 2 props) works best. It's quiet and throws a wide stream. Draw back is you have to drill out the center to fit the 3/16" tube. If you use the MJ 1200, I found the Dumas 1-3/4" prop(NO.3004 $1.25 per prop) throws the best stream. No drilling required. draw back is that it hums. Well if there are any questions just holler

hehe i made two my self, but it doesn't push out as much as i wanted it to. Works great in small tanks such as 90g or smaller. It pushes more water than a mj1200 though, but not 1800gph. Maybe it just need a better prop.
