Does anyone have this Model? I have heard they are great pumps but I am wondering if 1. How quiet? With cabinet doors closed can you hear it? 2. Do they pump 1100 GPH ( Just being cautious because some pumps say one thing and pump a whole lot less).

Yep, I've got one sitting in a box waiting to be used. It's a great return pump for a small/medium system. I used one for return on my old 110 gallon. They're very quiet for an external pump with this much flow; not as quiet as the velocity pumps, but they run much cooler. They are pretty conservatively rated for flow, but this is not the pressure version. In any kind of plumbing set up with some head pressure and line/elbow friction, you won't get 1100 GPH.

I love my PanWorld! I think it's the same model. I don't hear mine at all, but then again I have a noisy house for a variety of reasons- and it's right in the great room and is inside a cabinet. In my experience they put out as much as they say or more- like Iwakis. My experience has been great with mine.

Yes they are quiet...I had one on my old 100g as a return and now I have another one as my feed pump for my skimmer...these are great pumps!

Oh and I believe that Sherri here on MAAST has one as well

You can hear the cooling fan on my PanWorld when the house is quiet at night, but its not really loud. You can't really hear the pump itself. Mine is a 100PXX which is a couple of models bigger then the 50.
