Sorry if I am posting in the wrong spot, but I wanted to let you all know if the event we have scheduled. We are offering a discounted admission to our little sister club members, but all non-club members will have to pay a $10 admission fee. Feel free to plaster this where ever you would like. Also, this would be a great chance for you all to come visit some of our local fish stores!!

Jorge Gomezjurado recently gave his presentation on seahorse care at the DFWMAS Next Wave conference and we are pleased to announce that he has agreed to give his presentation to MARSH. MARSH will be bringing him in from Baltimore, Maryland for this special event, so mark you calenders now!

Jorge is the owner of Draco Marine (www.dracomarine.org). Draco Marine is a science-based sustainable aquaculture company dedicated to the culture of seahorses and other marine ornamental species.

This special event is free to MARSH members and costs only $10 to non-members. MAAST members are also invited to attend at a cost of only $5. All attendees will receive a ticket for door prizes as well as a raffle ticket. The raffle will include gift certificates for seahorses from Draco Marine!

So if you have been thinking about keeping seahorses are want to learn how to have greater success with your seahorses, this is a must see presentation!!!

Jorge is going to be donating 3 pairs of seahorses for the meeting. The winner will be able to choose between H erectus or H reidi. Jorge will be talking about their care, as well as other techniques for aiding in their husbandry. Any current owner or person who has ever wanted to do this should come to this meeting.
