Default RO/DI Mounting - head pressure?

Can I mount my new-to-me (second) RO/DI unit under my wet bar, and then run the water line up 7 feet to a storage tank? Is the head pressure for it simply a result of my 35 psi input pressure? The one on my sink is about 3 feet higher than the unit...

    Thanks!

It will make it up 7 feet with no problem. Not sure on the head pressure on an outlet of one but sure it will go that easily.

Head pressure is roughly 1/2 pound per foot. So, 3 ft. would be 1.5 psi. The product outlet pressure is not very high though. I think most of the pressure goes to the drain.

The only reason I said it should make it easily is mine went about 6 feet when I initially filled my tank and it ran great. Not sure of my inlet pressure though on my setup, it supplies my drinking water and also auto topoff of my sump (greatest thing I ever did).

Thanks, guys. I didn't want to install it and then find out it wouldn't work! Now, if I could just decide, overflows, or calfo....

The pressurized tanks for RO storage carry 4 to 6 pounds of air pressure. So I would imagine that as long as you didn't exceed that by too much, head pressure shouldn't be a problem.
