Default Long nose butterfly and other crappy pictures

Someday I will buy a better camera and learn to take pictures but for now this is all I have. I added a longnose butterfly to my tank over a week ago and he settled in very well already eating flake food with the other fish in the tank and thawed mysis as well. So far he hasnt touched my clam or corals and hope that someday he will eat aptasia because there are way plenty of them!

    Bret,

I think a long nose may be my next addition. I have seen them in the same tank with a CBB before. I hope they are compatible in mine. I have discussed this with Instar, our resident butterfly expert and he seems to think they will do OK together. I don't think the long nose feeds on Aiptasia like the CBB does. I know that Racoons are supposed to eat mojanos. You might want to drop him a PM and see what he says. He is pretty busy now and doesn't cruise the forums as much but he will answer PMs.

I'm surprised its eating flake. Sounds like you got a great fish there.

Instar has agreed to do a talk on butterflies at an upcoming meeting. Stay tuned for details.
