Default how hardy is a colt?

in you good peoples opinion and exp,how hardy is a colt coral?i traded one out for a piece of pink hammer from sharkbait and it is not doing well at all.it was in a low light tank.i believe rob said 80 watts about halfway down in at least a 30 gal hex.now it is on the bottom of my hundred with 330 watts vho.it is in little flow.in robs tank it was about 7 inces tall.in mine it is about an inch and not extending at all.my params are normal.my trates are about 20.the only one elevated.now, this colt was fragged off then transferred to my tank the same day.my tank has a higher flow in it and also alot more light.i am thinking that the shock from fraggin and new tank in the same day was a little too much for it.i think it has been about a week and a half to two weeks in there now.how long should i give it?sure do not want to see it melt away.maybe if rob reads this he can concur with me on the time it has been in my tank.thanks ya'll for opinions,
    mike

The fragged piece just started bouncing back today in the original tank.
The original tank was a 42 hex with definate low flow (was a seahorse tank). Was under about 130 watts of light. The colt is about 3 years old. Started as a frag from a friend in Florida then shipped to Texas. Spent awhile in Mingh fuge down here in Corpus while I was setting up the tank. Then moved to the reef tank were it never really did anything. Didn't die off (oblivously) but never really grew. Then moved it to the Hex tank and it took off. So I know this piece has been through alot but always bounced back.
Any suggestions for Mike would be great, as I too would hate to see this piece melt away.

Mike any chance the clowns are harrassing it or maybe something else close?

Instar has a 125 that the colt has overtaken. Its turned into a 125 gal. colt tank.

Another possibility is that it is acclimating to more intense light.

keep in mind that every now and then colts will 'purge' and shrink down to tight tough little stalks, they do this for a day or less, and then re-inflate and start looking pretty again.

you know what rob,it is right next to some ricordia.also within 6 inches of my rasta leather.maybe the leather is makin it mad?maybe releasing something the colt does not like?i know the clowns are leaving it alone.they do not go near it.i want to try moving it but at the same time i am afraid to do so.but it has been two weeks and while there was just a tad bit of polyp extension and then back to nothing.it has been two weeks now i think.what do you guys think, should i try moving it?
