    Default Water Change High

I just wanted to ask if anyone else gets the same feeling i do after you do a beautiful water change? I just cleaned all my powerheads, I cleaned my filter and skimmer, cleaned off all my rocks, cleaned my sand, and scrubbed my tank from top to bottom. everything is running smoothly, everything looks great and my water couldnt be any better. Sorry, but i just wanted to share that. Heh Heh.

By cleaning the sand did you siphon it, swirl it around or what?

Not really, new tanks tend to grow algea very easily, along with cyano bacteria, so syphoning the detrius is a very good idea. Dont stir the sand, all that yellow stuff that comes out is very harmful for your fish..
