Thread: Snail ID please

    Default Snail ID please

    These snails came in as hitch hikers. They have multiplied, but are not infesting. I usually catch some and put them in the skimmer and fuge to eat algea. I have yet to see them mess with anything else. Are they good or bad, and what are they?

    that second picture looks like a snail that feeds on zoas but I think its the wrong shape

    I have the same snail. Doesnt seem to bother anything. Hope algea is the only thing its eating

    Look similar to nassarius, do they bury down into the sand?

    I have yet to see them bury. From what I have noticed they just eat algea.
