Quick and Easy question on SCWD

Does the hose going from the SCWD to the bulkheads need to be the same length.....does a few inches different make a difference?


Sorry for a dumb question but first time using a SCWD.

The manufacturer actually suggest that they be of different lengths.

Really.....the paper that came with mine said to make them the same, but I was asking because there is literally 3" difference...?????

I called when I hooked mine up and spoke with them. I wasnt able to get it in the center and they told me off center was preferred. Its a closed loop anyway and will be filled always so it doesnt really matter.

mine works fine with about 3ft. difference from side to side
