there is a white spot on my blue tang

i dont know what this is...i have had this fish for a few weeks...never had a prob with tangs...i feed greens to them every day..plus all the rest of the stuff...my yellow tang is fine...and all the rest of my fish..any thoughts??/,,,should i pull him...wait a day...the only thing i have done is a water change yesterday. and added some magnesium two days ago...but just 100ppm...so not much...hummmmmmmmm.....rich

Rich - It looks like your Hippo scraped up against something...possibly a rock or coral. Anytime they have some sort of trauma to their "skin", it will turn a lighter color. When we introduced our Hippo to our system, I could always tell where the Yellow tang had "whacked" her by the round white dot that would ensue. Don't worry about it...it'll go away in a couple of days. ;)

Mine has done that also...has even touched either an anemone or a torch and got a white spot. It will go away...
