Was getting the last of the plumbing situated on the closed loop for the aquarium. Got side tracked when someone came over and opened the ball valve. Noticed the tank getting awful low and really quick. Luckily all of the pumps and etc are in the garage, right along with the one line that I forgot to attach on the drain side. :angry
BTW, a 1 1/4" drain will fun a fairly good amount of water out really quick. Didn't wait to measure but I'm guessing it would have been at least 100 gal in a minute or so had I let it continue.
Moral of the story. Always check fittings twice before opening that stinkin valve. Like I said at least it was in the garage so the yelling from the wife didn't happen (garage is my baby). Oh well it was due a water change anyway. 8)
