Thread: MHs ballast question

    Default MHs ballast question

I have a silly question. I know that PC ballasts can power different wattage bulbs, for example, I can use a 55w ballast to power a 28w bulb and everything will be fine (actually thats what I'm using in my nano). Do MH ballasts work the same way? can I use a 250W electronic icecap ballast on a 175W bulb?

No! Ballasts and bulbs are wattage specific.
