COZUMEL ROCKED!!!!

We had such a great time and would recommend the Iberostar Hotel to everyone. All was great and we had a blast.

We has bungaloos and at first our room was on the second floor with a real grass thatched roof. Well, it needed some new grass because we had about a pool of water on our floor. The Iberostar quickly moved us to a downstairs room so we didn't have the thatched roof anymore and no more water problems. We came back to our new room the next day to find a bottle of champane iced down with glassed waiting in our room just becuase they had to move us. The staff at the Iberostar were great (and no time share salesman! LOL)

We got there and kind of checked things out and lounged the first day.

2nd day we took a catamaran out to the reefs and snorkled on three different reefs. BEAUTIFUL!!!! Took tons of pics. Word to the wise, SUN, NO WATER, NO FOOD IN Stomach, TONS OF BEER and TEQUILA....Not a good mix! We got back and I was waisted.

3rd day we woke up and went to the dive shop and went out diving on two different reefs! IT WAS AWSOME! We are all getting certified now. Took a ton more pics (didn't get waisted this time, no drinks! LOL) We saw so many blue tangs, triggers, angles, etc....sea cucumbers, urchins, some fish I have no idea what it was and a beautiful tang that I have never seen. I hope the pic comes out of it. Might have been a Juv Blue Tang, but was so excited diving and trying to take pics....didn't really think about it, probably was a juv blue.

4th day we took the wives out sailing on some little Hobi Cats (4 seater catamarans). They laid around looking into the water and just enjoying sailing in that beautiful water. That night was rented a jeep and went down town shopping and dinning.

5th day we came home....dang.

I will post pics as soon as they are developed but just had to say we had a blast! The only vacation that we have ever taken was to go snow skiing in Col. This was our first Tropical vacation and we loved it!

If you have never been....GO!

We booked through Adventure Tours USA and had NO problems what so every. They took care of everything and they were a little cheaper than FunJet!

It sounds like you had a blast!! The Mexican Caribbean is amazing..Ive had the oportunity of snorkling there a few times..im glad you enjoyed it!..now feed us pics!!!!!! >_< :skeezy

Glad you had a great time, and made it back OK...I was beginning to get worried when I read hurricane Dennis was headed your way. :unsure

I've been to Cozumel, so I DO know what you are talking about - absolutely fantistic! It sure is hard getting on that plane to come home, isn't it?

Ya...we got lucky. When we arrived they came on and said that we just missed the tropical depression and then when we were leaving they came on and said that the hurricane was suppose to hit tomorrow! Dang we cut that one close!

and yes......it was VERY hard leaving.

Words can't explain how awsome and beautiful the reefs are down there! I was already looking at plans to go back! LOL....

I will get the Pics posted I promise. We just walked in the door last night at midnight!

I was there a couple of weekends ago diving myself! Some of the best carribbean reefs are in Cozumel. 8)

We leave the 25th for Cozumel for 5 days ourselves - 3 days of diving. We love it there. Very very hard to come back... :shades
