    Nope, its supposed to be alive, but everyone I know has said it isn't. You can get some live phyto cultures from other places.

    Anytime I get DT's, it smells like the most disgusting f@rt. I think it isnt kept cold during shipping and that most LFS just put it into the refrigerator when they get it, but the phyto is already dead. Does this sound possible?

    Its sold as a live product but I have read that it was checked to see how "alive" it is and it had basically 0% live cells.
