Eliminating mushrooms?

How can I get mushrooms off of rock(thats not at all flat) without taking it out and scrubbing it. I also have some button polyps I dont really care for either. I'm probably not going to answer anything for awhile since im going to new york from austin tomorrow. I want to get them off so I can put in more flow and have more sps. Tell me your thoughts please.

Using a Kalk paste (just like aptasia) will work on shrooms & button polyps (palys), but be cautious - they will release toxins into the water and if your tank is small you don't want to do too may at once. Also run some charcoal.

But ... why not add the flow and see how they do? Maybe move them to some lower flow area? Or yank the rock and sell it?

I have to agree yank the rock and sell the rock with them on it. And just replace the rock that may be needed.

the shrooms will release from the rock if they cant handle the flow. Some might end up in really good spots and thrive

what type of mushrooms are they? and how big is the rock? i might be interested in a trade if that's the route you're going.
