Dog Face with Ich

My Dog Face Puffer has come down with ich, I've had ich on all my other fish and I just let it run its course.

This doesn't seem to be working on the puffer. I've got the tank temp at 83 and the Specific Grav is 1.020.

My tangs always get over it when it pops up.

Any suggestions for a puffer would be nice!

Yeah...tangs and puffers. They get ick, or at least they get white spots alot anyway.

whatever you do , do not use copper with puffers

How bad is he? oh I mean she...this is martha stewart right? anyway hypo is the best way with puffers, just do it gradually. Puffers can tolerate near freshwater conditions...just bring it down to 1.009 and keep it there for a month.

She's (yes it's martha) covered in white dust. Still eats some. Will the Hypo hurt my Gulf of Mexico Hermits?

yes it would probably kill them...can you put them somewhere else temporarily?

I'll find a place, they are too large for my reef tank.
